A forlorn homecoming.
Mama Wan has passed away. Fifteen-year-old Zi Min and her twelve-year-old brother Zi Han return to Wallace Court for the funeral wake, revisiting the low-cost apartment complex where their family history began.
What should have been a difficult but ordinary night ruptures into something far more sinister. Familiar corridors distort, tragic residents refuse to rest and a charitable organisation conceals a ritual that has waited years to unfold.

Wallace Court is a fictional apartment complex inspired by real Malaysian public housing, including Waller Court in Ipoh and Kuala Lumpur's former Pekeliling Flats. Its coffee shop, corridors, courtyards and neighbours carry the textures of everyday life before the supernatural begins to pull them apart.
